"Drücken Sie auf OK" "Peter Schippers, CEO of audiodata has brought not a playground for geeks on the market, but a reliable and developed to the end device for music lovers, who wants to deal with their CDs or downloads, and set up a media center, without having previously graduated in computer science." writes Heinz Gelking, editor of the german magazine image hifi initially in his ten-page(!) review about our MusikServer MS I, which also contains a long interview about the development of the device. In addition to his "sophisticated design" and the "excellent written manual" is there once more the outstanding sound characteristics of the MS I, which left an impression. "The MS I sounds in the ground and the midrange area a little stronger in color and dynamics, plays the music in whole more palatable and cantileveres more in space; if you want one more time to use the traditional clichés, you might say, that it plays 'somehow more analogous'". "Die Jukebox" "Here has a small, fine, German HiFi Company built a music computer to do a perfect job in an audiophile environment, also in tonal aspects. Not reverse a computer giant buildt a server for anything that may incidentally also provide audio data." So in a nutshell begins Ralph Werner, publisher and chief editor of the german magazine fairaudio his very detailed, nine-page(!) report on our music server MS I, in which he also explores in addition to the various options intensively with the tonal qualities of the MS I compared to competitors. "The sound affects total energy and is more catchy, the imaging of single sounds comes edge sharper, more to the point, more vividly with the audiodata server. "Audiodatas MusikServer wird zum Medienspieler" Also the editors of the german magazine HIFI DIGITAL have not let take to review our MusikServers MS I with the elegant and user-friendly JRiver/JRemote surface (Streaming Package II) again. In issue 3/2014 chief editor Carsten Barnbeck gushes about the newly acquired skills of the MS I as a music player and writes in conclusion: "With the update, the music server deserves to his already impeccable test evaluation an additional "cum laude". "Konsequenterweise" With the needs and wishes of our customers, our musicserver MS I has become even more flexible and can now in addition to its UPnP-server functionality also be used as a music player. This has prompted Christian Rechbach, editor-in-chief of the german magazin HiFieinsnull to let his editorial devive retrofit by us and review it again in issue 1/2014 (March/April) under the title "Consequently,". "Eifriger Datensammler" "Reliable ripping servers are real scarce. Audiodata ventures with the "MusikServer MS I" in this sparsely populated niche market and sets along by the way standards in terms of support and user guidance.". With this brilliant statement editor in chief Carsten Barnbeck begins his recently in the issue 1/2014 of the magazine HIFI DIGITAL published report about our MusikServers MS I. The detailed, four-page review describes in detail all the optional equipment packages, praises haptics and handling and provides our latest creation in sum a very excellent testimony."Four Stars, Excellent" is the enthusiastic conclusion of Carsten Barnbeck: "The server from Aachen convinced us completely. The mini computer is easy to use, is characterized by its reliability and "sounds" finally also excellent as a data supplier. Apart from a few significantly more expensive media servers, including the Naim HDX, there is currently probably no more convenient method, to capture a large CD collection with "high-class" claim to a hard drive." "Wunschprogramm" Our new MusikServer MS I had a great launch into the market and the first review was not long in coming. Under the meaningful title "ideal program" chief editor Christian Rechbach of the german journal HiFieinsnull made the practical test and also listened to the music with the MS I. From the "really nice fast" hardware over the "really commendable service manual" to the "unique support package" and "best sounding results" all facets of our MusikServer found appreciative attention. "audiodata has created over a fairly long development process elaborate, sophisticated and high-quality music storage system, it has become easy operation, best hardware and ultimately comes to sound an absolute high-end server " is the really great conclusion of Christian Rechbach. "Die Geheimwaffe" "You already have a great hi-fi system - and beautiful home furnishings. And you both want to change anything as far as possible. But: It sounds neither great nor beautiful. But there is help." So moderated Lothar Brandt, editor in chief of the leading Swiss magazine Home electronics in the current October issue another great report on our "evergreen", the AudioVolver II. In a thematically interesting 36-page dossier on "Better Hearing" he describes measurement and effect of the AudioVolver II in detail and concludes: "All strengths of the cherished large speaker reappeared as known before, their weaknesses were gone. There finally played again a real high-end system. The AudioVolver must ago." "Der Klangdoktor" Your tweeter has a severe tinnitus and the room acoustics suffers from bloating in the bass range? This is a clear case for the sound doctor! In the same article in the current issue 3/2013 of the magazine HiFi Test editor Michael Voigt accompanies audiodata manager Peter Schippers at one of his acoustics analysis on site and describes whose optimization by the AudioVolver II. Thus, the seventeenth(!) article is published about our unique audio-processor and it shows once again very clearly, what an excellent instrument the AudioVolver II represents to perfect the playback quality. "The advantage in sound and thus quality of life is incomparably high, no other method that we know improves the overall quality of a hi-fi system in real-world listening rooms in such manner." is the conclusion of Michael Voigt. "Ein Stück Lebensqualität" To tell one more time, what our streaming audio processor AudioVolver II is able to afford, now would really mean carrying coals to Newcastle. An impressive list of reviews and press articles (see below) bear testimony of this. The wishes and demands of our customers and the ever-growing experience already leads to some special solutions. But now we faced a whole new challenge. Inspired by a customer with a hearing aid some time ago, we dealed for months intensively with the use of the AudioVolver II as an audiophile replacement for a hearing aid. Various discussions with ENT doctors, audiologists, and of course with sufferers have let us learn, how the AudioVolver II can be used here successfully. Despite of all measuring technique, it is just the intensive dialogue with the parties concerned, that leads to the perfect solution. Christian Rechbach, editor-in chief of einsnull, a german hifi-magazine about digital music, has visited the audiodata-team in Aachen and wrote an event log in issue 3/2012. "tonart technik theme" As in the article, "A quality of life" (s.above), the music magazine , an insert in the German Doctors Sheet, deals in the issue summer 2012 with the use of AudioVolver II as a quality, musical substitute for a hearing aid. In the article above, the playback through speakers was the main theme, here stood the custom correction of a unilateral deficit of hearing via headphones in the foreground. | stereoplay Special Edition "Die 100 besten Lautsprecher der Welt" 12/2011 |
Semi-active Avancé Holger Biermann, chief editor of the german HiFi magazine stereoplay is very familiar with speakers. For Christmas, he has incorporated his experiences gained over many years in a special issue, which is called quite simply "The 100 best speakers in the world". In the editorial he writes, that he has collected here a personal selection of transducers, regardless of price, size and design, which have impressed him most. One of these speakers is the semi-active Avancé. "With very low level as well as huge volumes that dominated the new Avancé effortlessly, artists were holographically projected into the room. The action was based on such a solid basement, that I can think of no sound transformer of this size, that could hold a candle to this speaker." Holger Biermann writes approvingly about our flagship. "Lösungen nach Maß" That our award-winning audio processor AudioVolver II perfectly plays the role of the streaming clients as well, has now spread around. Less known, however, is still that audiodata has expanded its catalog of services according to provide on-site service and tailor-made system solutions around the topic of streaming. The streaming theme combines classical hifi with computer technology, but in practice it is often still treated satisfactory neither from the HiFi stores nor from the computer shops. We can clearly better! "Rolls-Royce-Klasse" Our "lying tower speaker" Allongé made a first class debut at the german home cinema magazine HEIMKINO. In issue 10-11/2011 editor Roman Maier listened to our multifunctional novelty as a 5.2 home cinema set, supplemented with a pair of Petite as rear-speakera and two subwoofers Soutien 2+. What he experienced while listening, obviously thrilled him a lot. His conclusion is: "This 5.2-package is taking over the leading position of our reference list. So if you are looking for a multi-channel system with fantastic resolution, the here presented speaker set of the Rolls-Royce-class is the ultimate solution." "Avancen machen" The AudioVolver II is the continuation of loudspeaker development by other means - Taking into account room-acoustics. Thirteen reviews in and outside of the hifi-scene (see below) have shown how well this works and maybe shifted slightly the perception of audiodata within the past two years. Thereby we are building for nearly thirty years loudspeakers! How well we can do that, tested Ralph Werner, editor of the magazine fairaudio now and listened to our flagship model, the semi-active Avancé. And he was obviously very impressed by what he got to listen. His conclusion is: "You have to take some money into you hand to buy the semi-active audiodata Avancé. This does however secure such a complete speaker as is rare to come across. This model surprises with sheer wealth of acoustic virtues rather than isolated peak values that come at the cost of other aspects. This is no specialist but do-everything champ that performs at the highest level." "Audioprozessor Audiovolver II" "Who can say of himself that he operates the perfect loudspeaker in a no less perfect listening room, does not necessarily read any further here. Anyone who has even the slightest doubt, however, has the damned duty to read this article and finally deal closer with the only viable countermeasure, that is embodied in the AudioVolver." Thus begins editor Dr. Reinhold Martin his just-published article in the internet-magazine HIFISTATEMENT, and thus delivers review number thirteen(!) and his very own view of our accustomed to success audio processor. And his final conclusion is: "Who is suffering with the inevitable limitations of his listening room sound, does not come past the AudioVolver II. "Jetzt strömt er auch" Exactly two years ago it was the german STEREO magazine, which launched with its test in issue 11/2008 (see below), a success story, which has developed steadily until today. Since that time the AudioVolver II has also developed further and can now convince as a high-quality network player. In the special issue HIFI DIGITAL 1/11 of the editorial department of STEREO, editor Carsten Barnbeck therefore has listened once again carefully to the AudioVolver II and compared him with its competitors. Here, the AudioVolver II already proved as a pure network player on par with the best stand-alone devices "and in combination with its 65 000-FFT filters and timing corrected speakers the Audiodata plays any potential competitor to the wall". "Taktgefühl" Since a few weeks the AudioVolver II holds another ace up in its sleeve. With the latest firmware our success spoiled audio processor will take over as a full-fledged network player and can so provide the functionality of a complete separate unit. This was reason enough for Christian Rechenbach, editor in chief of einsnull, the german magazine for digital music, to listen again to the AudioVolver II in issue 4/2010. With phrases such as "It's always amazing what the AudioVolver does to the speakers and what they are accounting with the room. You can percieve how the stage moves high a little piece, voices gain in expressive power, the speakers are learned more tactfulness.", he describes again the ability of the AudioVolver II, to improve the playback quality in the listening room decisively.. "Einmessung vom Profi" Meanwhile it has gotten around, that the AudioVolver II and the associated on-site service are an unbeatable team in terms of perfect sound in the living room. Seven great reviews (see below) within one year are an impressive proof. Now comes another article in addition: In the May/June issue of the new magazine AUDIO TEST from the Auerbach-Verlag in Leipzig, Germany, editor Jens Voigt dealed with the AudioVolver II and another digital room correction system and appointed the corresponding on-site service into the house. With sentences like "After surveying our reference speaker, who played already in the best acoustics very well, we could make a much better offset in depth and clarity in sound and the playback was so alive", his listening impression fits seamlessly to the comments of his enthusiastic colleagues. And compared with the competition the AudioVolver II was once again completely convincing. "Award for Innovation 2010 for the AudioVolver II from the editorial department of AUDIO" Since a few days the audiodata-team becomes richer by a spectacular prize: Once a year the editors of the German audio-magazines AUDIO, stereoplay and Video pick the products of the year. As a part of a big evening gala audiodata´s managing director Peter Schippers got the award for innovation 2010 for the AudioVolver II from the editorial department of AUDIO. With this our State of the art audio processor - and the concept of service related - was awarded with one the most desirable prices of the industry, which is often reserved for major brands. "Zauberei..." Der Sommer tends to its end, the booming of the AudioVolver II, however, goes further. In issue no. 10 of the German audio-magazine AUDIO, editor Malte Ruhnke has dealt intensively with three different digital room correction systems, including with the AudioVolver II. He compares not only the sonic results, but also the way there. With phrases such as "what the Audiovolver can, has not the slightest to do with traditional equalizers. The secret to its success is in the successful cooperation between man and machine, between measurement and hearing." describes to the point our concept of superior hardware coupled with individual service on-site. The test result speaks for itself. "Mit grauen Charts zum Klangerlebnis?" Ralph Werner, chief editor of the Internet magazine fairaudio didn´t made it none too easy for the audiodata-team. An audiophile two-way loudspeaker, a carefully chosen equipment and a listening room, as many wish it would be at home. Does our "secret weapon" AudioVolver II. put up a good fight under these tightened constraints? - The report with many photos, charts, and background information answers the question clearly, the AudioVolver II could convince once more completely! "To cut it short: the sonic step forward fell out much bigger than I would have expected. I find it striking, to experience how the enabled filter opens the virtual stage clearly backwards, especially at the edges. It feel like you heard music previously by a semi opened folding door and by pressing the button the wings of the door fold to the side!" "Klangkurven-Diskussion" The positive coverage of our successfull product AudioVolver II is also extended in this month. In the july release of the german audio-magazine STEREO, editor in Chief Matthias Böde reported about a workshop at our Nuremberg partner AudioVideum, where the AudioVolver II was in the focus of interest level. In addition to a further description of the construction, the calibration procedure, the performance of the AudioVolver II and the listening impressions, its just the personal comments of the workshop participants, which make this report particularly interesting. "Audiodata Audiovolver II" Under the simple working title "Audiodata Audiovolver II" a further AudioVolver II review appeared in the Dutch hifi magazine hifi.nl. Editor Jan de Jeu has experienced the AudioVolver II in his own music room and was enthusiastic about the musical quantum leap: "A unique device, that is a perfect solution for most of the audiophile. It gets my highest recommendation", he said in his final conclusion. "Zur richtigen Zeit" Within a few months the AudioVolver II has become to a successful product. The enthusiastic feedback of our customers and very positive experiences in various forums speak for themselves. Clearly, that not long to wait for a further review of the AudioVolver II. In issue 1 of einsnull, the new german magazine for digital music enjoyment, a further, very detailed test of the AudioVolver II has just appeared: Editor in Chief Christian Rechenbach kept himself busy with the AudioVolver II in two different equipments and documented the results very thoroughly. "With this black box you come defintiv a very big step forward", he writes and his conclusion is short and flush: "That part works, and namly really good." "Mehr als nur Bügeleisen" Under the hip title "More than just a flat iron" a further test of the AudioVolver II in the freshly printed issue 04/2009 of the german audio-magazine stereoplay has been released. Editor Raphael Vogt probably wanted to express, that besides frequency corrections the AudioVolver II mainly can work true wonders especially in the time domain: "With wide-banded, complex arrangements, such as Quincy Jones' "Birdland" from the CD "Back On The Block" suddenly came order and focus, depth and a lot more musical flow into the band. The longer the tester listened, the more noticeable was this effect, and the more gruesome it sounded in the bypass-mode. The increase in the quality of the perfected step-response of the FIR filters was fascinating." His final test conclusion therefore simply reads as follows: "Sounds wonderfully musical!" "Personal Services" Under the heading "Personal Services" editors of the German audio-magazine STEREO bail out readers of the magazine on smaller or larger sound problems. In issue 03/2009 they joined us, as our "secret weapon", the AudioVolver II, caused for much better sound at Rolf Meergans from the German area "Bergisches Land": "The effect was impressive: Immediately after the restart of the Audiovolver the system made a powerful set of forwards and played with an inner order and spacious serenity you did not previously dared to dream of." "Raum und Zeit" With our brand new room correction system AudioVolver we are currently on everyone's lips. No wonder, the AudioVolver can solve acoustic problems with previously unknown perfection. Under the title "Space and Time" Carsten Barnbeck, editor of the german audio-magazine STEREO, was allowed to listen to the AudioVolver in the issue nov., 2008 and was deeply impressed by his abilities: "Yet all this it was unimaginable, what the Audiovolver caused inside the frequencies. Due to the perfected timing the music regular snaps right, was yet conclusive, and had now an extreme inner peace and homogeneity. Moreover the sound detaches completely from the speakers and floated freely in space." "An der Wand..." The chic combination of the on-wall loudspeaker Carré and the actively regulated sub-woofer Soutien 2+ knows not only visually to convince.
