Top-class Dual-Coax technology, space-saving wall-mounting and impressive musicality have achieved a convincing synthesis: the new audiodata Carré.

Also Carré is equipped with a completely newly developed 145mm Dual-Coaxial driver, manufactured exclusively for audiodata. The advantages of this driver, like perfectly symmetrical radiation and natural sound, even at the shortest listening distances, make this loudspeaker to a perfect solution for many applications. Carré is suitable for high-quality multi-channel solutions, integrated into your living room, as well as stereo applications, when assisted by a high-quality subwoofer.

Carré's level of musicality lets you forget that you're listening to a small loudspeaker. The technical superiority of the Dual-Coax principle, when matched with our know-how and its flexible mounting possibilities, results in a loudspeaker that steps up to the task of altering benchmarks.

With a precisely calculated high-pass filter in the crossover, a frequency response down to about 125 Hz results - ideal for matching with high-quality subwoofers.

The eye-catching 28 x 28 cm square front baffle clearly overshadows the asloped cabinet. With its ingenious mounting frame, Carré can be wall-mounted in many different ways. The perfect tilt-angle up or down and left or right can be achieved for each implementation and listening position. The cable can be fed into the cabinet from all four sides and even from behind the wall.

For perfect integration of Carré a special inn-wall version is also available. It completely disappears into the wall and the required installation depth is just 85 mm.

But Carré's flexibility doesn't stop there. It can be customized for a wide variety of interior design styles with discreet fabric coverings in various colors, or with contrasting decorative rings in many attractive executions.

Carré can be ideally combined with Soutien, our active sensor-controlled subwoofers, as well as with Partout and Petite.

Carré II

By model upgrading the actual version Carré II came into being at the HIGH END 2008.

The Carré II differes from the older version by a new coax driver, developed especilly for the Carré, with a raise of sensivity of 2.5 dB. In combination with the revised crossover, which leads to a more balanced impedance curve, Carré II now harmonizes better with smaller amplifiers.

Because of the adjustment of the crossover there is in case of the narrowness of the small cabinet unfortunately no upgrade option for older models.
